Image in Text [Clipping Mask]

  • File > Open > Pick any image you want
  • Double click at the background layer, click OK

  • Create a new layer. Layer > New > Layer. Click OK.  

  • Click on the type tool.

  • Drag your cursor, fit to the image. Something like this;

  • Type anything. Try to fit the text with where you want the image-in-text be. And click at the tiny right to commit the text.  

  •  Drag the text layer , make it under the background layer.
  • Then, right-click on the text layer. Click at the create clipping mask.

  • And tadaaah.
  • Just drag the cursor, fit to the siz you wanted. Image > Crop.  
  • File > Save as > .png > Click OK – If you want it to be without background.
    If you save it as .jpeg , the background will be in white color.


 Have another fun with using the brush.

  • Click on the brush tool.
  • Play with the brush, on a new layer.
  • Then, repeat the same thing from step of making the layer under the background layer until the last step.
